OES Oilfield Services Group completed a rig visit of the Noble Lloyd Noble at the Jurong Shipyard in Singapore yesterday to have a meeting with Noble staff and catch up with the OES Crew onboard.

Steve Molloy, South East Asia Managing Director visited the rig with Hardin Tahir, Technical Co-ordinator and was surprised to catch up with a friend, Tony Mitchell, he had not seen in 20 years!

Steve said of the meeting, “Tony is the Noble Lloyd Noble Toolpusher and is preparing this state of the art Cyber rig for operations with Statoil and gave me a tour of the technology.

It was the first time I had seen Tony for close to 20 years. Back then, we were great mates in our home town in the UK, Tony was the manager and instructor at our local gym. I used to have my own room at Tony’s house… with geography and time, we lost contact. Needless to say we have had a catch up over a few beers in Singapore!”

Steve caught up with the OES Team on board and congratulated them on the excellent work they had achieved and is shown pictured with Stuart Mullis, OES Lead Inspector.
