Acoustic Emission (Noise Level) Surveys
Safety is top priority and that includes prevention of hearing loss in Oil & Gas Environments.
Hearing loss for workers offshore can easily be reduced by the wearing of the correct hearing protection. Noise impairment affects work place operational health and safety, performance and crew comfort, fatigue and well-being. The correct insulation and hearing protection can be installed in areas of high noise to reduce the long term risk of hearing loss.
OES provides detailed facility mapping of high level noise areas, survey results using the latest technology sound measuring equipment and mapping software.
Surveys are best conducted in a fully operational environment, however are commonly carried out whilst the rig is in yard so preventative measures can be installed.
Surveys are non-intrusive and will not interfere with on-going operations.
