Following a great weekend at the Dubai Rugby 7’s, we would like to offer a huge congratulations to the Askaris Predators, who came runners up in the Women’s Open International division.
Everyone was very much in awe of the powerful performance from South Africa, Winners of the second round of the HSBC Sevens World Series.
We spoke to Alex Cook earlier today, who is based in the OES Dubai office and is captain for the Askaris Predators …
“Dubai 7s 2014 was a complete success this year with an action packed tournament for the Askaris Predators. With some awesome lines of running, crowd pleasing tackles and impressive score lines; The Predators reached the Cup final for the 3rd year running. With a tied score line at half time, the match had people on the edge of their seats, it could have gone either way. On this occasion, Tribe7s showed their dominance and became victors taking the title.
I’m extremely pleased with the accomplishments of the team at the Dubai 7’s event, they have shown themselves to be consistent each and every year. Thanks for the support from our sponsors, which none of which would have been possible without them”.
The OES team, accompanied by several clients had a fantastic weekend, which was enjoyed by all who attended. Special Guests included Leonna Mayor who enjoyed cheering on the participants!

The match play was something to behold, especially the performance of the South African side on the day.
