Leon Dashwood, Global Operations Director of OES Asset Integrity Management will be presenting at the IADC Middle East 2017 Conference and Exhibition in Dubai next week.
The event runs from 3rd-4th October and being held at The Westin Dubai Al Habtoor City Hotel.
Leon will be speaking within the Health, Safety and Environment program being held on 3rd October at 15.30 and will be discussing DROPS safety and mitigating risk with Technology within the Oil & Gas Industry.
Dropped Objects is still in the top three for incidents and is still a big issue that companies in the Oil & Gas industry are dealing with on daily basis.
Leon Dashwood said of his presentation; ”In today’s Oil and Gas market, some of the at hand technologies have been over looked due to the focus on cost reductions. Little attention is being given to the FACT that Dropped Objects are still in the top 3 for incidents and facilitates in the work place. The presentation I will be giving, is to highlight the ongoing issues, as an industry, we are still having and how new / existing technologies can help in the fight to ultimately reduce Dropped Objects from our worksites, enabling our work force to go to work and come home safely to their loved ones.”
