Dale Harris, Regional Managing Director Europe & Africa and Adam Gibson, Strategic Business Director Europe & Africa attended the Oil & Gas UK Breakfast briefing at the Aberdeen Exhibition and Conference Centre yesterday.
The event discussed the current economic environment in the Oil & Gas Industry and the challenges that are being faced ahead. Speakers included Deidre Michie, Chair of Oil & Gas UK; Adam Davey, Market and Intelligence Manager, Oil & Gas UK; Debapratim De, Economist at Deloitte and Mark J Thomas, Regional President BP North Sea.
Dale Harris said of the event “It was very interesting to get three views of the current state of the oil industry, all from different market perspectives. The message I took away is that whilst the market is still highly challenging, opportunities do exist across the supply chain for those companies with the right focus on solving their clients’ problems in the most cost effective way possible.”
