OES Oilfield Services Group, a global Third Party Audit, Inspection and Project Management Company, has become OES Asset Integrity Management launching a suite of new specialist lifecycle inspection technology for the offshore industry.

Unveiled at OTC in Houston, Texas, (STAND 3325) the new technology and the company’s new brand identity reflect OES’ growing focus on comprehensive end-to-end asset inspection.

OES has unveiled the latest generation ARCUS platform to provide a suite of specialist services that span the life cycle of a range of assets and facilities, from the planning and construction stage, reactivation and through all phases of operation and maintenance, right until decommissioning.

The ARCUS platform provides a technologically-innovative solution to completing inspections in challenging on and offshore oil & gas industry environments.

Using the latest Zone 1 & Zone 2 ruggedized tablets, the ARCUS suite of services utilises RFID Tags for Asset Identification through a pre-defined Inspection process with photographic evidence of inspection. The data is then synchronised to a cloud based portal, to provide near real time reporting to onshore management.

Coinciding with its 21st anniversary of operating in the oil & gas industry, OES, which was launched by Richard Upshall in the UAE in 1996 and now operates out of 12 international offices, has also redeveloped its website, www.oesgroup.com, to reflect its new branding with a focus on the comprehensive of the ARCUS platform.

Richard Upshall, Executive Chairman of OES Asset Integrity Management said: “OES has been at the forefront of inspection technology developments in the oil & gas sector for more than 20 years and continues with the development of the latest generation of ARCUS.

“After winning a Spotlight on New Technology Award at OTC in 2016 for our Dropped Objects Prevention, Program, ARCUS Drops, the exhibition was the perfect location to introduce our latest developments and our new name, which reflects the growing importance of supporting lifecycle asset management.

“Maintaining asset integrity at every stage of a facilities development and operation is vital to ensuring productive and cost-controlled operations. This is essential in this new-normal of mid-$50-per-barrel oil prices and demonstrates how technology-led supply chain companies like OES are key to helping asset operators achieve this objective.”
