OES has undergone some significant changes of late, and to keep everyone full up to speed we would like to clarify:
Globally the head office remains as Dubai, UAE where Richard Upshall remains as Chairman and Steve Molloy as Corporate Director overseeing the Global business
Enis Suleyman has rejoined the team overseeing the day to day Global Operation of the business reporting in to the above and working closely with optimization of Operations as well as the newly upgraded Business development function within OES as well as adoption, integration and sales of Arcus and the various derivatives thereof. We also welcome back Karen Prentice to the fold as Contracts Manager supporting the sale and business development team Worldwide.
The UK has seen Darren Reah step up in to the role of Regional Manager for EUM and West Africa as George Byers moves on to pastures new. Darren has been with OES almost a decade starting in the Middle East and developing a career which seems him in this new role. Darren was quoted “this is an opportunistic time for this region, and indeed the upstream sector, with the signs that the market is slowly recovering and a great team in place. Darren will be working with the upgraded team out of Aberdeen including James Griffin, rejoining OES after gaining great experience over recent years, Andy Eagar who joins OES from a very front line exposure to the Upstream sector for many years. Steven Ure remains in his double role of both Technical and Account Manager, based in Aberdeen looking after the technical support for the region as well as managing the Valaris contract and operational requirements locally.
OES Dubai head office will be led by Joseph King as the General Manager for the Middle East, Excluding Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, along with his Global Technical Manager’s role.
Sheeba Anchan will remain responsible for Business Development through the Middle East and India, again with the exclusion of KSA and Bahrain which are managed and supported locally.
OES Saudi Arabia, including Bahrain, will continue to be managed and expanded by Kevin Whinney, with business development in that area covered by Malla Alahmadi, along with a newly appointed client-relationship/BD Manager who will be announced in the coming week.
OES Americas head office, at our now larger premises on Jack Rabbit road in Houston, continues to be led by Michael Lloyd, OES’ regional President in the Americas. Mike is well supported by a team that includes the recently appointed Jimmy Larsen as VP Business Development, with Jimmy having a wealth of experience in the offshore rig sector, plus Liz Figueroa as BD and Roberto (Robert) Gaona as Technical Sales, who, working along with Liz is making great progress with securing and delivering on larger project style work. Wayne Byrom continues his role as Director – Client Services, overseeing the Valaris contract on a global level with regionalised support in certain locations.
Singapore and Asia
Mohamed Khairizan will continue to be responsible for day to day operations in Asia and is supported by Warren Seah as Business Development Manager who has recently joined the team along with Roy Saputra.
Brasil has seen significant growth this year and will continue to do so under the leadership of Patrick Ribeiro reporting to Mike Lloyd president of the Americas.
OES’ new office in Guyana will see a Manager appointed within the coming week, as we build our local support in that rapidly emerging offshore drilling market.
