After a fantastic night at the Mink Bar in Middlesbrough, England, 17 year old singer Boo (real name Beth Coates) from Thornaby was crowned the 2015 TFM Big Audition winner!

The competition this year was tougher than ever with some of the best local artists we’ve ever seen. Between them the finalists also raised over £14,000 for Cash for Kids to support disabled and disadvantaged local children. Boo herself raised over £2,800 which Richard Upshall from RU:Listening, and Chairman of the OES Group, very kindly offered to match!

Boo said; “I’ve had the most amazing two weeks and really have enjoyed every minute of fundraising for TFM Cash for Kids, it’s been lovely to see so many of my family and friends come together and help. I’m still in complete shock at winning but so very excited at being given the opportunity to perform at Metro Radio Arena on 7th December and I can’t wait to start my music journey with the team at RU:Listening. I really am very EXCITED and looking forward so much to the future! I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has helped me achieve this amazing dream xxx”

A HUGE thank you to Boo, our runners up Jake Hope and Geoff Mull, all the other finalists and everyone from RU:Listening and the OES Group!
